Can you pull a CCW ( not shoot it) to end a fist fight?

Well I was always taught that if you pull your gun, you shot. Guns are not a bluff they are a dangerous weapon and should be treated as such. It would be a very touchy situation, especially if the fight was not threatening you directly. The trouble with just threatening someone with a gun is there is a possibility of them taking it away from you and using it on you. I have seen a fight broken up with a shot fired in the air, all action stopped immediately, the cops also showed up and were more interested in the shot that was fired in the city limits than they were about the fight. Technically a CCW is only for personal protection.
