Give me your honest opinion of this short piece of writing?

I like it, and while your vocabulary is obviously very advanced, it is somewhat overused. And I know that, whenever I'm writing, I hate having to create names, because there is such a fine line between too common and too unusual, and I think you may have gone a tad over. But good luck with the writing, I hope you get published at some point.
