What do I need to do to own this air gun?

I'm looking at purchasing a Crosman 2100B air rifle. I live in Illinois. I know that because the muzzle velocity is over 700fps, I am required to have a FOID card to purchase/own/possess this rifle. However, I don't know whether or not I have to register the gun or anything beyond a FOID card. I've never owned a "Firearm" before, but have owned multiple air rifles under 700fps. Also I am sixteen years old if that changes anything, but my dad could be the "owner" of the rifle.
